Galilee Basin strategic offset corridors
The Galilee Basin strategic offset footprint identifies areas, within the Desert Uplands and the Northern Brigalow Belt Bioregions, that accommodate state significant biodiversity values and provide landscape connectivity. Protecting the biodiversity values within the footprint will ensure the long-term viability of ecosystems, species and the services they provide. The provision of offset services within these priority areas is by voluntary involvement of the respective landholder.
