Abstract
This dataset was derived by the Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program from the chemical properties and ecotoxicity database source dataset. This dataset reports the Tier1 Screening level chemical risk assessment of chemicals used for drilling and hydraulic fracturing in the Cooper, Isa and Beetaloo GBA regions.

Chemical data was screened through a decision matrix to classify it as either “low concern”, “potential concern” or “potentially high concern” based on persistence, bioaccumulation and toxicity properties. The decision matrix is defined for each screening level on the corresponding sheet.
