Bush Fire Prone Areas 2015 (OBRM-002)

The Bush Fire Prone Areas 2015 dataset (OBRM-002) identifies bush fire prone areas of Western Australia as designated by the Fire and Emergency Services (FES) Commissioner on 8 December 2015.

This dataset is provided for historical reference purposes and is superseded by the Bush Fire Prone Areas 2019 dataset (OBRM-013).

Bush fire prone areas are subject to, or likely to be subject to, bushfire attack. A bush fire prone area is identified by the presence of and proximity to bush fire prone vegetation, and includes both the area containing the bush fire prone vegetation and a 100 metre buffer zone immediately surrounding it.

More information is available from Office of Bushfire Risk Management (OBRM).
