Freeway Travel Time

Freeway Travel Time contains the spatial location, travel times and traffic conditions collected from road-side sensors for freeways throughout Melbourne. The data includes (where available) the location, actual travel time, nominal travel time, rounded travel time, travel time variance, average speed, traffic conditions, congestion index, delay and excess delay.

There are two APIs available - 'Freeway Travel Time - GIS' and 'Freeway Travel Time - Traffic'.

'Freeway Travel Time - GIS' contains contains the names and coordinates of freeways throughout Metropolitan Melbourne. The data includes the spatial location of the freeway, freeway segment names, direction, origin and destination descriptions. The source data is updated every 12 hours.

'Freeway Travel Time - Traffic' contains travel times and traffic conditions collected from road-side sensors for freeways throughout Metropolitan Melbourne. The data includes the spatial location of the freeway, actual travel time, nominal travel time, rounded travel time, travel time variance, average speed, traffic conditions, congestion index, delay and excess delay. The source data is updated every 30 seconds.
