IMOS SOOP Underway Data from AIMS Vessel RV Solander Trip 5117 From 31 Jul 2010 To 27 Aug 2010

'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Solander Trip 5117.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Seawater Intake Temperature at 1.9m on trip 5117 from 31 Jul 2010 through to 27 Aug 2010, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a SBE 38 remote temperature sensor manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 38.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Turbidity at 1.9m on trip 5117 from 31 Jul 2010 through to 27 Aug 2010, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Fluorescence at 1.9m on trip 5117 from 31 Jul 2010 through to 27 Aug 2010, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 1.9m on trip 5117 from 31 Jul 2010 through to 27 Aug 2010, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a SBE 21 conductivity cell manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 21.
