Professional Update (formerly known as 'Awareness') is produced on a regular basis by the Audit Office’s Audit Support Team. The publication provides Audit Office staff and our clients with the latest news on developments in accounting standards, auditing standards, and public sector issues relevant to accounting and auditing. It is used by clients and staff as a reference and keeps its stakeholders up to date with the Audit Office’s views, comments and policies in respect of the changing public sector audit and accounting environment.
