Estuary Catchment Total Suspended Solids Loads

Annual average loads of Total Suspended Solids have been estimated for all 184 NSW coastal catchments. Land use in each catchment was assigned to one of nine categories and event mean concentrations of TSS for each land use determined from literature review and field studies. Flow was estimated using a modified version of the 2CSalt catchment rainfall-runoff model. Using these two inputs, loads under current land use and hypothetical natural land use were derived.
