The Pavement Lines dataset forms part of the Launceston City Council Detail Survey Database (LCC DSDB). The purpose of this dataset is to give a general indication of pavement lines within the urban areas of the Launceston municipality. The Pavement Lines dataset includes features such as edge of bitumen, edge of kerb, driveways and paths. The data has been compiled over a number of years using mainly hand digitising (1:500 hardcopy plans), aerial photogrammety (1:5000 aerial photographs) and field survey work.
The sewer line dataset can be directly related to the sewer point dataset that is also avialable. Other datasets included in the LCC DSDB are buildings, drainage, fences, sewer lines, sewer points, stormwater lines, stormwater points, water lines, water points and vegetation.
