RSV Nuyina Trial Voyage 1A, 2023-24 Voyage Data, Tasmanian waters

This dataset contains the data from the RSV Nuyina collected during voyage 202324VT1A, which took place between 2023-08-05 and 2023-08-14 in waters around Tasmania. The focus of this voyage was to commission the deck and gear related science systems. This included Ultra Short Base Line (USBL) calibration, trawling, Conductivity/Temperature/Depth (CTD) deployments, multibeam and Acoustic Doppler Current Profiling (ADCP) testing, and towed camera operations. The whole of voyage data from the RSV Nuyina underway instruments includes uncontaminated seawater, meteorological, and wave radar data interpolated to 1 minute measurements. Wherever possible, each parameter and its associated unit of measurement complies with the NetCDF Climate and Forecast (CF) Metadata Convention Standard Name Table (Version 29). This voyage was cut short due to the need for the RSV Nuyina to conduct an emergency medevac to Casey Station.
