RSV Nuyina Voyage Data 2023-24 V6

Voyage 6 of the 2023/2024 season onboard RSV Nuyina was a continuation of the commissioning voyages. The focus of this voyage was to test scientific instrumentation and systems on board to ensure they were working correctly and to identify any problems before a full scientific voyage was undertaken. There was a specific focus on commissioning the acoustic sensors. The voyage took place in July 2024, and within the vicinity of the south east coast of Tasmania. The data is organised using a file directory structure with the system/instrument as the top level directory followed by folders for the raw data (raw). Where it is available processed data (proc), and instrument and calibration documentation (doc) are included. The second science equipment commissioning voyage this year. This voyage had an acoustics theme, calibrating and testing the following equipment: ADCP EM122 and EM172 Multibeam EK80 Silent R Acoustic mooring release Towed body camera Drone deployment
