Tasmanian Groundwater Flow Systems for Dryland Salinity Planning

A groundwater flow workshop was concened on 25-27 July 2001, Colin Bastick, of the Land Management Branch of DPIWE, Tasmania, to define the main groundwater flow systems within Tasmania. This map classified the Tasmanian landscape into 13 regional classes of hydrogeology and 3 classes of flow system (related to salinity management). The map accompanies the report that describes the outcomes: the main groundwater flow systems within Tasmania, their implications and management with respect to salinity.
