Townsville City Council has developed a 3D Model of Townsville’s Priority Infill Areas. The model will provide opportunities for existing and future development within Townsville’s inner city to be viewed in a 3D environment.
Council received grant funding as part of the Round 2 of the Queensland State Government’s Innovation and Improvement Fund to undertake the 3D Model of Townsville’s Priority Infill Areas project. The 3D Model of Townsville’s Priority Infill Areas project has delivered a GIS-based 3D Model for Townsville’s inner city, including the CBD and parts of North Ward, South Townsville and Railway Estate.
